We're currently seeking a kickass Software Developer to help us take our mission to the next level.

Experience

Required Skill Set

Node.JS, MongoDB, React, MySQL, HTML, CSS3

As our SDE, your responsibilities will be :

Contribute to design discussions and decisions around building scalable and modular architecture

Build clean, modular and scalable frontend website architecture

Participate in sprint ceremonies and actively contribute to scaling the engineering organization from a process perspective

Developing back-end website applications, Designing user interactions on web pages and, Creating servers and databases for functionality.

Stay on top of the software engineering ecosystem and propose new technologies/methodologies that can be adopted.

Manage and mentor a small team of junior engineers

Play an integral role in owning the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team by timely delivery of the feature

Work on performance improvement activities. Instrument and test performance metrics.

We’d additionally be looking at

Quick Turnaround Time

Good communication skills, ability to work with different departments

Self-motivation, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Receptive to constructive criticism, and delivering changes as directed

Technical know-how

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Good problem-solving skills along with proficiency in implementation of algorithms and use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing. A solid foundation in the principles of computer science is desired.

Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming with proficiency in at least one programming language like Java.

Experience with scalable systems handling large amounts of data and experience with Python, PHP, AWS, Kafka, ETL, AWS, Redis, NestJS, NextJS is a plus.

Good understanding of data structures & algorithms and their space & time complexities.

Superior analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced setup.

Nature of Work:

Work from Questt HQ in HSR Layout, Bangalore (We may or may not have a PS4 Gaming Station at office )
