DXC-Luxoft is seeking an experienced Lead Appian Developer / Architect for its growing Appian Digital Automation Practice in India. This role involves working with global clients on automation and digital transformation projects within the Appian CoE. The developer will collaborate with business partners to gather requirements, design, develop, configure, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Appian-based BPM workflows. Key responsibilities include implementing complex enterprise integrations, designing database objects, participating in workflow analysis, and delivering projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. The role also involves Appian installation, environment management, upgrades, and team collaboration.

Must Have:

Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements for Appian BPM workflows.
Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and enhance Appian-based custom BPM workflows.
Implement complex enterprise integrations with LDAP, Active Directory, and other systems.
Design and develop database objects and maintain database performance.
Participate in workflow analysis and modelling using SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.
Translate BPM requirements into high-quality Appian applications.
Deliver projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Perform Appian Installation, environment management, upgrades, and deployments.
12+ years software engineering experience (Appian, Scripting, REST API, Java, JavaScript).
10-12 years Appian Development Experience, with at least 4 end-to-end implementations.
Expertise in Web API integrations.
Strong database principles knowledge: Stored Procs, Triggers, Views, Joins, MySQL, SQL Server.
Proficient in Appian Process Reports, Process Models, Rules & Expressions, Records, Data Management, XSDs, SQL, RBAC.
Lead Appian Certification is required.
Agile mindset and ability to craft business process automation solutions.
Strong client interaction, communication, technical prowess, business acumen, and leadership.
Experience leading design/development of Appian applications and small to medium-sized teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

##### Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and challenges, and gather business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Appian-based custom Business Process Management (BPM) workflows across the enterprise.
Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry-standard technologies, including LDAP, Active Directory, and other internal systems in the enterprise.
Design and develop database objects to support BPM applications.
Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.
Participate in workflow analysis and modelling utilizing SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.
Translate BPM requirement specifications into Appian applications and solutions, ensuring the highest quality and performance.
Deliver projects in either Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies, as project dictates.
Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM development teams.
The work is primarily in the development area; however, you may also be required to perform Appian Installation, environment management, new environment creation, Appian upgrades, deployments, manage database performance, and related activities.
Collaborate with application support teams throughout the development, deployment, and support phases.

##### Skills

Must have

Have 12+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrating proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Appian, Scripting, REST API services, Java, and JavaScript.
10-12 years of Appian Development Experience.
Should have done a complete end-to-end implementation for at least 4 projects.
Exhibit expertise in integrations utilizing Web API, Integrations, with the capability to tailor these functionalities to suit external system requirements.
Showcase a robust grasp of database principles, coupled with practical experience in Stored Procs, Triggers, Views, Joins, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Strong knowledge and experience in Appian Process Reports, Process Models, Rules & Expressions, Records, and Data Management, including Complex Data Types, XSDs, SQL, Inter Process Communication, RBAC, and Process Reporting on Appian 2.X and above.
Knowledge and experience using the latest Platform features.
Possess Lead Appian Certification.
Embrace an agile mindset and possess a knack for crafting solutions that facilitate business process automation.
