About the role

As a Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain an online backend platform for We Will Be Gods, an upcoming strategy war game on a massive scale. 

What you will do 

• Develop an online backend platform for We Will Be Gods

• Working closely with game developers on related initiatives

• Troubleshoot and solve problems in the online backend platform domain

  
  You have 

  • Go programming language or other languages that will allow you to pick up Go quickly

  • REST/gRPC API/service development

  • Containers and related workflows

  • Version control systems such as Git

  • Relational database technologies such as Postgres/MySQL

    
    Bonus points 

    • Familiarity with cloud vendors and their offering

    • Linux

    • If not experience working on games, a passion for playing them
