Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to be part of Rotork's transformation journey, partnering with key stakeholders to harmonize processes across geographies and business units. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical, strategic or operational solutions, delivering comprehensive analysis and insights across various programmes. The role involves supporting the design, documentation, optimisation, and governance of business processes across the organisation, focusing on continuous improvements within core systems, processes, and workflows.
Must have:
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
  • Define and document business processes, data flows, RACI models and system requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions to gather, document and validate business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current state and future state processes.
  • Design, lead and implement new processes and solution updates.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Process Owners and project teams to ensure alignment.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing, development of training materials and change management activities.
  • Degree in Business Information Systems, IT-related Business Administration, Business Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
  • 5–8 years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex or multi-entity organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of structured processes, innovation tools, customer journey mapping, and methodologies like LEAN, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
  • Skilled in requirements analysis, root cause analysis, gap analysis, decision analysis, and SWOT analysis.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets, generate meaningful insights, and support decision-making.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Visio, Power BI, Excel, SQL, wireframing tools, and requirements management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Proven track record with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies; experienced in UAT, change management, solution configuration, and training.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills with clear written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • Self-starter with strong motivation, proactive problem-solving approach, and ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Our Business Analysts play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical, strategic or operational solutions whilst delivering comprehensive analysis and insights across technological, strategic and operational programmes. Shaping the way Rotork operates by supporting the design, documentation, optimisation, and governance of business processes across the organisation.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise to gather requirements for ongoing improvements within our core systems, processes and workflows whilst delivering Rotork’s overall transformation strategy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and process flows to drive improvements across the business.
  • Define and document business processes, data flows, RACI models and system requirements to support business operation and transformation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions to gather, document and validate business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current state and future state processes.
  • Designing, leading and implementing new processes and solution updates.
  • Partners closely with Product Owners, Process Owners and project teams to ensure alignment between business requirements, system requirements and the delivered change.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing, development of training materials and change management activities.
  • Advocate of the enterprise business process framework and building trusted business partner relationships.

Qualifications

  • Education & Background: Degree in Business Information Systems, IT-related Business Administration, Business Analytics, Systems Engineering, or a similar field with 5–8 years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex or multi-entity organizations.
  • Process & Problem-Solving Expertise: Strong knowledge of structured processes, innovation tools, customer journey mapping, and methodologies like LEAN, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
  • Analytical Skills: Skilled in requirements analysis, root cause analysis, gap analysis, decision analysis, and SWOT analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Data Interpretation: Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets, generate meaningful insights, and support decision-making with data-driven recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Visio, Power BI, Excel, SQL, wireframing tools, and requirements management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Project & Agile Experience: Proven track record with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies; experienced in UAT, change management, solution configuration, and training.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills with clear written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-starter with strong motivation, proactive problem-solving approach, and ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
