What We Need

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Core Games Player Insights team dedicated to supporting the future of the Borderlands franchise and more! On this team, you will contribute directly to the design and growth of exciting new games from the early stages of development all the way to post launch content. You will work closely with game designers, product development, and diverse partners across 2K.

What You Will Do

• Examine complex data sets to uncover insights that will help drive game development.
• Prototype, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards for post launch monitoring and in development playtests.
• Support user research teams by providing quantitative insights on player behaviors in test environments.
• Work with engineering teams to settle the best ways to measure gameplay behavior for future titles.
• Plan and implement long term analyses to provide impactful insights to our studios and 2K.
• Play our games!

Who We Believe Will Be An Outstanding Fit

• An ability to take highly technical analyses and present them in an engaging and accessible manner to partners from different subject areas.
• Experienced working with in-development games or other software.
• A creative problem solver with the passion for driving impact in games.
• Experience with games developed by Gearbox.
• Proficient in Python or R programming.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Proficient with the creation of rich data visualizations using platforms such as Tableau.
• Knowledge of Databricks.
