Job Description

Work with research scientists and engineers to develop and produce new cutting-edge data models and associated artifacts such as data preparation pipeline and model characterization logic. Ensure these models are developed to fulfill accuracy, performance or other specific customer requirements and work with platform team to deploy these models. Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and data architecture. Partner with product managers to understand and acknowledge customer requirements. Monitor data model behaviors in production and iteratively improve their quality over time. Develop prototypes, then design and carry out experiments to validate and improve the prototypes and bring the ideas to production. Maintain a portfolio of projects, some with an immediate path to production, others might find an application after a few days/months.

Job Details

Job Duties: Work with research scientists and engineers to develop and produce new cutting-edge data models and associated artifacts such as data preparation pipeline and model characterization logic. Ensure these models are developed to fulfill accuracy, performance or other specific customer requirements and work with platform team to deploy these models. Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and data architecture. Partner with product managers to understand and acknowledge customer requirements. Monitor data model behaviors in production and iteratively improve their quality over time. Develop prototypes, then design and carry out experiments to validate and improve the prototypes and bring the ideas to production. Maintain a portfolio of projects, some with an immediate path to production, others might find an application after a few days/months. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Computer and Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: Six (6) months of experience using the following: (1) Tableau, (2) Data Analytics and Visualization, (3) Data Engineering, (4) ETL, (5) Talend; (6) SQL; (7) Python; (8) KPIs; (9) reports and dashboards; (10) data pipelines; (11) data automation; (12) data integration. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $170,893.00 - $199,700.00 per annum.
