Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Director of User Acquisition/Performance Media to lead and build a new Performance Media team within the EA Live Service Marketing Organization. Reporting to the Head of Live Service Marketing, this role is crucial for growing EA's most successful games across PC, console, and mobile. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating a data-driven marketing team, developing multi-year user acquisition strategies, optimizing ROAS models, and influencing senior stakeholders to maximize investment revenue. This position requires extensive experience in performance marketing, leadership, and a deep understanding of user acquisition algorithms and creative best practices.

  • Improve strategies to grow and maximize revenue for titles.
  • Craft clear data-driven narratives for senior management.
  • 15+ years in performance marketing, managing demand generation and player acquisition funnel.
  • 6+ years in a leadership/team manager role.
  • Experience managing AAA game media budgets.
  • In-depth understanding of user acquisition algorithms, measurements, and creative best practices.
  • BA/BS Degree in marketing/finance or equivalent quantitative field.

We are looking for a Senior Director of User Acquisition/Performance Media to join the EA Live Service Marketing Organization. You will report into the Head of Live Service Marketing, directly responsible for growing some of our most successful games. This is a unique opportunity to build a Performance Media team for EA’s Franchises from the ground up, transforming how we bring and support our products!

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage a high-performing team of data-driven marketers specializing in user acquisition for PC, console and mobile
  • Seek out performance media solutions to critical business problems to help us grow and achieve our goals
  • Partner with the product marketing, brand, channel marketing, creative and studio teams on go-to-market strategies
  • Educate and influence senior partners in Studio, Fan Growth and Publishing to maximize investment revenue
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance partners to refine ROAS models to optimize performance metrics.
  • Lead ROAS target setting with studio and commercial teams to hit games’ top and bottom line returns.
  • Develop multi-year paid user acquisition strategy that considers privacy landscape, use of AI and deep lifecycle management connection.
  • Change agent for advertising partner roadmaps to better meet business demands
  • Improve strategies to grow and maximize revenue for titles
  • Craft clear data-driven narrative to senior management

Requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience in performance marketing, managing demand generation & the player acquisition funnel across PC, console and mobile games
  • 6+ years of experience in leadership/team manager role
  • Experience managing AAA game media budgets
  • Ownership, accountability & ability to solution complex problems.
  • In-depth understanding of user acquisition algorithms, Measurements, and creative best practices.
  • BA/BS Degree in marketing/finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Passion/knowledge for video games
