What Are We Looking For?

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business and functional requirements to develop test strategies and coverage plans.
• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for web/mobile/API platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Perform different types of testing, including functional, regression, sanity, smoke, and
• Collaborate with developers and product managers during sprint cycles for Agile testing.
• Contribute to automation efforts by writing or maintaining basic test scripts.
• Execute and analyze results from automated test cases (if applicable).
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Provide timely and accurate QA status reports.

Must-Have Skills:

• 3 to 7 years of overall QA experience, primarily in manual testing
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management
• Hands-on with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar test management tools.
• Exposure to automation testing using Selenium, Postman, or similar tools
• Basic scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred)
• Familiarity with API testing and database validation using SQL
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have:

• Working experience in CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
• Knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• ISTQB Certification or similar credentials
• Experience in performance or security testing is a plus.
