We are currently seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with web frontend expertise to join our Operator Web Experiences team. This is a unique opportunity to influence our overall technical design, with a particular focus on our front-end stack!
Make Video Management System Operators Successful
You will work in our Operator Web Experiences team, where we deliver impactful experiences to critical personnel around the globe. The team is relatively new, meaning you will have the possibility to influence decisions with the aim of helping us deliver consumer-grade experiences to our users.
Join the Operator Experience Unit
You will be part of the Operator Value Stream, consisting of four product teams with highly experienced engineers. Our teams are empowered to make decisions within their areas of responsibility, offering ample opportunities for influence, collaboration and individual development.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Design and build cutting-edge, data-driven video software solutions.
- Collaborate and deliver front-end design and development (we use React)
- Ensure technical cooperation within and across teams.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient, and secure code using best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to operations and activities.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
Your Technical Toolkit:
- Extensive software development experience, with 6+ years’ experience working in the web domain, and you feel comfortable working on the front-end.
- You feel comfortable in one or more frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular, etc.) knowing that you will be working with React.
- Experience with backend-for-frontend patterns is a plus
- Good understanding of the foundations of web technologies, including how browsers, JavaScript, and frameworks work under the hood.
- Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a team setting.
- Experience with Micro frontends is a plus
