What we are looking for…

Design Works Gaming is looking for an experienced and determined Senior Game Artist to join our art department in Scottsdale! At DWG, our Game Artists are responsible for designing and illustrating graphics and artwork for casino games including slots and videos in a variety of different themes and styles. As a Senior Game Artist, you will have the ability to push creative projects from concept to final execution. The right person for the job is going to be passionate, motivated, collaborative, and excited about creating visually stunning art.

Your Role and Impact:

· Create game art and art related assets including characters, backgrounds, symbols, text, logos, and various other graphic elements

· Shows effort to learn, seeks feedback and takes direction from the higher-level artists in order to grow and fine tune their skill and knowledge.

· Assist other departments such as Commercial and Marketing with art related tasks when necessary

· Contributes to a collaborative environment and works well with others

· Maintains efficient workflow, time management, and job prioritization

· Communicates well, maintains a high level of availability and response time

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong portfolio

- Digital Illustration (High Skill-Level)

- Graphic Design (High Skill-Level preferred)

- Photoshop (High Skill-Level)

- Illustrator (Proficient)

- Strong understanding of traditional drawing principles (ie. Light/shadows, color theory, anatomy, composition, and visual flow)
