As part of the Steer studios team, you will work alongside the best global gaming talents who have relocated to Riyadh to be part of the ambitious group, and innovative, passionate and hardworking Saudis. 

 

Steer Studios is seeking a Senior IT Administrator with experience and expertise in various network solutions and management of computer systems. In this role, your responsibilities include designing and implementing multiple networks and user solutions for the Savvy games studios team. You would be the critical member leading and ensuring the services have high availability and robustness.

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, install and maintain various network equipment, including switches, routers, and Wi-Fi.

 

  • Install and manage company firewalls, proxies, and all relevant network-related security rules.

 

  • Manage permission, rules, and policies of various software used in the company.

 

  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory group policies, login scripts, DNS, and DHCP

 

  • Maintain Active Directory and virtual servers.

 

  • Build and configure Windows and VMWare servers.

 

  • Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design, and standards for Savvy Games studio.

 

  • Design and implement scalable and robust architectures.

 

  • Oversee data storage and retrieval process.

 

  • To maintain computer systems installs and upgrade processes.

 

  • Troubleshoot problems with systems and programs.

 

  • To maintain documentation for various IT solutions architected, deployed, and used in the organization.

 

  • Efficiently monitor deployed services and support automated reporting.

 


 

 

Qualifications and Key Skills:

 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

 

  • To be able to community effectively across all team members.

 

  • Ability to work independently.

 

  • 7+ years of IT experience.

 

  • 2+ years of experience as a windows and linux administrator is preferred.

 

  • Expertise in network technologies, protocols, and concepts, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DHCP, SMTP, SMB, etc

 

  • Knowledge of programming (shell scripting, Python, etc.)

 

  • Working Knowledge of IPtables

 

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert will be given preference.

 

  • VCP certification will be given preference.

 

  • Certifications like MCSE, ITIL, VACP, RHCE are good to have.

 

  • Assist in end-user support (level 3 and above).
