The Revenue Fraud Prevention team is a platform team responsible for understanding how business attracts fraud, and finding effective ways to manage fraud that support the company’s long term growth.
As a platform team we work with other teams around the company, and help them achieve their crazy big goals and keep up the integrity of business. Our platform support takes many forms, including consultation on new product launches, modelling known and emerging fraud vectors, and engineering automated systems to identify, prevent, and remediate fraud at scale.
Our team’s systems affect millions of users, many of products and teams, and every single transaction processed at .
Since fraud is a complex domain, we also take care to be empathetic towards our users, interviewing and exploring how people use, the experience of being involved in fraud, and the effect fraud response can have on people. We invest in making sure’s approach to fraud is coherent, safe, secure, reliable, and leads to meaningful outcomes for everyone involved.
