Job Description

As the FP&A Sr. Manager, you will manage business support for the EA Mobile team, partnering closely with the SVP of FP&A for EA Entertainment. This role involves supporting studio teams responsible for popular games like Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and Golf Clash. You will act as a finance business partner, skilled at navigating and influencing a multi-dimensional organization and engaging with senior executives. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days on-site at an EA Office.
Must have:
  • Lead the financial planning process, including long-range, annual, quarterly, bi-weekly planning, month-end close, and risks & opportunities cycles.
  • Consolidate financial results for the overall EA Mobile business.
  • Provide regular financial visibility regarding Outlook, Risk, and Opportunities.
  • Manage the holistic health of franchises, including full P&L responsibility.
  • Establish and track performance measurements across all major titles and projects.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support partners.
  • Eight or more years’ experience in mid-level to senior finance roles.
  • Ability to resolve complex business issues, moving beyond reporting to synthesis and insight.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, maturity under pressure, and anticipating/resolving problems.
  • Effective communicator to executive audiences in person, written, and through clear presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience evaluating performance metrics and implementing action plans.
  • Experience using tools, processes, and teamwork to work at scale.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 9+ years experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge.
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
  • Knowledge in Anaplan and Power BI.
  • Experience working in game development and mobile.

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financial partnership to EA’s Leadership team. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to guide EA’s performance.

As the FP&A Sr. Manager, you will manage business support for our EA Mobile team in close partnership with the SVP of FP&A for EA Entertainment. EA Mobile includes studio teams responsible for such fan favorite as Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Golf Clash, Design Home, Covet Fashion, Sim City Build It and many more. You are a finance business partner skilled at navigating and influencing across a multi-dimensional organization and confident engaging with senior executives. This a hybrid role, defined as 3 days on-site from an EA Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will partner with senior leaders across EA Mobile to support and drive their businesses and work closely with the FP&A teams that support them across all financial elements associated with the delivery of EA Mobile’s strategy.

  • Lead the financial planning process, including the long-range, annual, quarterly and bi-weekly planning, month-end close and risks & opportunities cycles.
  • Consolidate financial results for overall EA Mobile business
  • Provide regular financial visibility with regards to Outlook, Risk and Opportunities
  • Manage the holistic health of the franchises, including full P&L responsibility
  • Engage and support M&A activity, as required
  • Establish and track performance measurements across all major titles and projects
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support our partners
  • Guidance on core finance processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables
  • Balance priorities, and find creative solutions that achieve results

CAPABILITIES:

  • Eight or more years’ experience in mid-level to senior finance roles
  • Resolve complex business issues, ability to move beyond reporting to synthesis and insight
  • Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, flexibility, maturity under pressure & anticipates and resolves problems before they develop.
  • Effective communicator to executive audiences in person, written, and through clear presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis
  • Experience evaluating performance metrics and implementing action plans
  • Experience using tools, processes, and teamwork to work at scale
  • Preference for experience working in game development and mobile

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 9+ years experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  • Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
  • Excellent MS excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint expertise,
  • Knowledge in Anaplan and Power BI
