OKX is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for its Platform & Infrastructure Audit team to execute critical assurance projects. This role involves performing deep technical assessments of foundational infrastructure and operational practices, serving as a subject matter expert in auditing core infrastructure, DevOps lifecycle, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and ITGCs. The manager will also contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan and collaborate with engineering and security stakeholders to communicate findings and monitor remediation plans.
Must have:
  • Serve as subject matter expert for auditing core infrastructure and DevOps lifecycle.
  • Lead technical platform assurance program and contribute to audits across data engineering and AI systems.
  • Contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan by identifying emerging risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineering, SRE, and security stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of crypto threat landscape and modern infrastructure best practices.
  • Deep expertise in performing technical audits of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ability to perform hands-on validation of ITGC implementation.
  • Fundamental understanding of blockchain technology, including distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
  • Proven capacity to analyze novel technical and control environments unique to crypto.
  • Ability to achieve proficiency in performing data analytics with SQL within the first 90 days.

  • Prior experience with a crypto exchange or crypto product.

About the Opportunity

OKX is undertaking a significant global team buildout, and we are looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our Platform & Infrastructure Audit team. This is a unique opportunity for a subject matter expert in Infrastructure, DevOps, and Technical Controls Validation to execute critical assurance projects that directly impact the foundation of our global operations. As a senior individual contributor, you will perform deep technical assessments of the foundational infrastructure and operational practices that underpin our global platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for auditing the core infrastructure and DevOps lifecycle, from cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines to the hands-on technical validation of IT General Controls (ITGCs).
  • Leverage your deep expertise in infrastructure to both lead our technical platform assurance program and contribute to a wide range of audits across data engineering and AI systems.
  • Contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan by identifying emerging infrastructure and operational risks and scoping potential audit projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engineering, SRE, and security stakeholders to communicate audit findings, provide value-add recommendations, and monitor remediation plans.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the evolving crypto threat landscape and modern infrastructure best practices to ensure audit approaches remain current and effective.

What We Look For In You

We're looking for a hands-on, deeply technical auditor who is a recognized subject matter expert in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and technical controls validation. You have demonstrable experience assessing controls in complex, high-technology environments—ideally within crypto or FinTech. You have a passion for understanding how scalable infrastructure is built, secured, and operated, and enjoy applying your skills broadly across related platform domains.

  • Crypto & Blockchain Acumen: Prior experience with a crypto exchange or crypto product is highly preferred. You must have a fundamental understanding of blockchain technology, including distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
  • Infrastructure, DevOps & ITGC Validation (SME): Deep expertise in performing technical audits of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, coupled with the ability to perform hands-on validation of ITGC implementation.
  • Critical Thinking for Complex Environments: A proven capacity to analyze novel technical and control environments unique to crypto, identify intricate root causes, and propose effective, context-specific solutions.
  • Data Analysis & SQL: Experience using SQL for data analysis is highly desired. The ability to achieve proficiency in performing data analytics with SQL within the first 90 days is required.
  • Broad Expertise Across Platform Domains: Demonstrable experience auditing the design and effectiveness of controls in several of the following areas:
  • Data Engineering & Analytics: Auditing the integrity and quality of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • AI Model & Platform Auditing: Assessing the security and effectiveness of AI systems and the data they use.

  • The salary range for this position is $143,000 - $257,000
  • The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
