As the Connectivity department, we operate the central network components and platforms, with a focus on SD-LAN, SD-WAN, and data center operations.

What you will be doing:

• you will work as a Network Engineer in one of Germany's largest media companies
• you will be responsible for the operation, optimization, further development, and monitoring of the network infrastructure
• you will participate in technical discussions, plan changes, and implement them together with the team
• you think holistically and accompany projects from conception to planning to the successful implementation of new technologies
• as a technical contact person, you will advise our stakeholders on solutions in the network environment

What you bring:

• you are a network-affine expert with a passion for stable, secure, and customer-oriented enterprise environments
• you possess deep technical network knowledge, especially in switching and routing environments and the associated protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, RSTP)
• you have experience in the SD-LAN environment. You also have knowledge of authentication methods.
• a high degree of personal responsibility and accuracy characterize you
• you enjoy solution-oriented thinking and a targeted approach to analyzing complex problems
• a team-oriented and committed way of working is an important part of success for you
• you have very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken
• relevant certifications from e.g. Cisco are desirable
