Your Role:

As a Senior/Lead Azure Platform Engineer, you will be crucial in delivering transformative cloud solutions for our customers. Through your extensive experience, you will design and implement automated, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures. But your role goes beyond implementation; you will develop a strategic vision, guide customers through complex cloud environments, and ensure optimal performance and security. With a comprehensive understanding of the cloud ecosystem, you will lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies, establish best practices, and drive innovation in cloud infrastructure solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Technical Expertise: Extensive practical experience in architecting and implementing complex cloud solutions. Proven knowledge in leading automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, as well as containerization and CI/CD technologies, demonstrating your ability to design, deploy, and manage sophisticated cloud environments.
• Cloud Architecture: Deep understanding of Public Cloud Architectures, especially in Azure.
• Security and Governance: Deep understanding of Security Best Practices and Cloud Governance. Expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive security frameworks.
• Enterprise-scale Systems: Extensive experience in designing and managing enterprise-scale systems. Proven ability to formulate and implement best practices for scalability, performance, and reliability in complex environments.
• Consultative Mindset: Excellent communication skills in German, with proven ability to convey complex architectures and solutions to clients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable services in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
• Perform cloud engineering tasks in German-speaking agile teams, adhering to best practices.
• Build and deploy new cloud solutions using cloud-native components.
• Develop automated cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting service frameworks.
• Present architectures to clients, from developers to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• Fluent German language skills (C1).
• Extensive experience in a consulting role where you have led technical teams through complex projects from conception to delivery.
• Solid knowledge in infrastructure technology and programming background.
