Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager at Publicis Sapient, you will define, deliver, and scale merchandising and catalog management capabilities in an agile, data-driven environment. You will lead collaborative, cross-functional teams including CX/UX designers, developers, and senior management to guide retail product development, ensuring differentiated customer experiences and superior business outcomes. Responsibilities encompass owning the product lifecycle for merchandising features, partnering with category teams, building scalable catalog ingestion, ensuring data accuracy, prioritizing features based on business value, monitoring KPIs, and exploring AI/ML use cases for content and merchandising.
Must have:
  • Own the product lifecycle for merchandizing and catalog-related features, including item setup, content enrichment, taxonomy, hierarchy, pricing, promotions, inventory visibility, and channel syndication
  • Partner with merchandising and category teams to streamline item onboarding, SKU lifecycle management, and pricing workflows across multiple selling channels
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build scalable and automated catalog ingestion and enrichment pipelines
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across catalog systems by aligning data governance policies, enrichment standards, and attribution frameworks
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, scalability, and customer impact
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs related to product discoverability, time-to-site, attribution completeness, and conversion
  • Explore, evaluate and implement AI/ML use cases, and evolving customer expectations for product content and merchandising
  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel environments
  • Deep understanding of merchandising operations, product lifecycle management, catalog syndication, and content optimization
  • Familiarity with PIM/MDM platforms (e.g., Salsify, Informatica, Riversand, Akeneo), and experience integrating with CMS, ERP, or supply chain systems
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Experience using data and analytics tools for data-driven decision making
  • Track record of managing product roadmaps, writing clear and specific product requirement documents, and collaborating with user-experience on product design
  • Deep understanding of Retail industry, consumer operations and digital commerce space
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience with GenAI-driven catalog enrichment, automated taxonomy generation, or large-scale data normalization
  • Demonstrated experience shipping product to market
  • Strong analytics skills and experience using analytics/visualization tools

Overview

As a Senior Product Manager, you will help our clients define, deliver and scale merchandising and catalog management capabilities in an agile and data-driven environment relentlessly focused on driving superior business outcome for our customers.

As part of your responsibilities, you will lead a collaborative, cross-functional and high performance team working with CX/UX designers, developers and senior management to guide merchandising and catalog management capabilities through to fruition and help teams build and enhance successful retail products that deliver a differentiated customer experience, meet the demands of the market and drive business results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for merchandizing and catalog-related features, including item setup, content enrichment, taxonomy, hierarchy, pricing, promotions, inventory visibility, and channel syndication
  • Partner with merchandising and category teams to streamline item onboarding, SKU lifecycle management, and pricing workflows across multiple selling channels.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build scalable and automated catalog ingestion and enrichment pipelines (e.g., PIM, MDM, DAM integrations).
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across catalog systems by aligning data governance policies, enrichment standards, and attribution frameworks.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, scalability, and customer impact—using both qualitative and quantitative inputs.
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs related to product discoverability, time-to-site, attribution completeness, and conversion.
  • Explore, evaluate and implement AI/ML use cases, and evolving customer expectations for product content and merchandising

Qualifications

Qualifications (Expected):

  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel environments
  • Deep understanding of merchandising operations, product lifecycle management, catalog syndication, and content optimization
  • Familiarity with PIM/MDM platforms (e.g., Salsify, Informatica, Riversand, Akeneo), and experience integrating with CMS, ERP, or supply chain systems
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization including Engineering, Marketing, Finance, UX, and Analytics
  • Experience using data and analytics tools and well-developed intuitions for leveraging data and analytics in generating objective and actionable evidence for fast and data-driven decision making
  • A track record of having effectively managed product roadmaps, writing clear and specific product requirement documents, collaborating with user-experience on product design and having worked in a cross-cultural, geographically distributed team
  • Deep understanding of Retail industry, consumer operations and digital commerce space
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience with GenAI-driven catalog enrichment, automated taxonomy generation, or large-scale data normalization.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping product to market
  • Strong analytics skills and experience using analytics/visualization tools

Salary Range: $117,000- $175,000
