Job Description
The Senior Security Engineering Manager will lead, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers, setting goals and conducting performance reviews. They will also drive the design and implementation of secure systems architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments. The role involves leading threat assessments, analyzing security issues, engineering solutions and processes for issue remediation, and developing secure configurations. The manager will also act as a trusted security advisor to various teams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and promoting a security-first approach.

Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development. - Security Architecture: Drive the design and implementation of secure systems architecture across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments. - Threat Modeling & Security Discovery: Lead efforts in proactive threat assessments and security issue analysis at ASE scale - Security Partner: Engineer solutions and processes to allow engineering teams to remediate security issues and integrate security controls - Hardening & Guardrails: Develop known-good configurations for operating system images and commonly used applications as well as engineer security sandboxes and default-safe security wrappers - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted security advisor to engineering, product, and leadership teams.
