About This Role
We are seeking highly experienced Simulator Engineers to take a pivotal role in the establishment of a cutting-edge flight training school in Dubai. This advanced facility will house six state-of-the-art, full-flight simulators. As a senior team member, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the smooth, efficient, and high-quality operations of our training center, contributing directly to its success and growth.
Support all technical and operational aspect of the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices as applicable.
Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness, act as the technical lead during flyouts, perform and manage scheduled preventative maintenances, as well as running and analyzing Qualification Test Guides (QTGs).
Identify, and take the lead to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues and AOGs.
Suggest and perform hardware design, refurbishment and modifications as deemed required.
Identify recurring issues and work to pursue permanent solutions.
Perform in the role of lead technical caretaker as required.
Seek and make improvements to procedures related to various training device maintenance tasks.
Through coaching and mentoring, provide on the job technical training to other technicians that will foster the professional development of all personnel.
Assume the role of technical expert for multiple simulator systems. (i.e. Visual, Motion, Flt Controls, etc…)
Support Technical Operations Leader in the assignment of daily tasks and special projects as well providing oversight and direction for the development of a superior work force.
Work with the specialists on complex issues that require extensive testing, troubleshooting, research, and design.
Assure, maintain and support the FSTD operations Management System, including implementation and adopting processes and procedures as deemed required.
Take on special projects based on the needs of the operation.

You will hold a Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Aviation Field
Have at least 6 years of related work experience.
Excellent knowledge of the English language, read, spoken, and written.
Highly customer oriented, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the customer. Must be able to deal tactfully in sensitive situations.
Advanced working knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems, and programming languages. Ability to write code and make minor software changes.
In depth technical background (Hardware and Software) and familiarity with FSTD technical issues, across all systems, specifically: motion, visual, avionics, dynamics of flight, aircraft systems, etc.…
Vast knowledge of various aircraft types, including Commercial Jetliners (Airbus family).
Advanced understanding of aircraft and training device terminology.
Advanced understanding of Commercial Aviation training.
In depth knowledge of local & International (EASA, UAE DGCA, etc.) regulations, with demonstrated experience, as they pertain to FSTDs.
Advanced computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
