Apple is looking for a Senior System Engineering Program Manager to work with mechanical, electrical, algorithm, and software teams. The role involves defining and developing highly optimized hardware products, driving system requirements based on experience targets and technology constraints, and identifying critical questions. The manager will be responsible for organizing teams to find efficient solutions, understanding the link between technical decisions and customer experience, and communicating impacts clearly. Apple Vision Pro is highlighted as a revolutionary spatial computer.
Must have:
- BS/MS CE/EE/ME
- 7+ years hardware engineering experience
- 5+ years project management experience
- Understand consumer electronics system architectures
- Work through system-level development tradeoffs
- Plan and execute development for advanced consumer electronics products
- Strong technical background (EE, ME, or SWE)
- Proactive, self-motivated, critical thinking, attention to detail
- Adapt to rapid development cycles and change
- Willingness to travel internationally
Good to have:
- Experience with multi-camera systems
- Experience with display and optics technologies
- Experience with wearable consumer electronics
- Drive diverse cross-functional teams
- Primary contact with vendors and CM partners

As a System EPM, you will work closely with mechanical, electrical, algorithm, and software teams in TDG and across the company to define and develop highly optimized hardware products. You will be responsible for: Driving the development of system requirements based on experience targets and technology constraints. Identifying the most critical questions and organizing teams to find efficient ways to get answers. Understanding the link between technical decisions for the system and customer experience and communicating impacts clearly and concisely.
- BS/MS CE/EE/ME
- 7+ yrs of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics
- 5+ yrs of project management experience
- Understanding of consumer electronics system architectures
- Demonstrated ability to work through system-level development tradeoffs
- Developed skills for planning and executing development in advanced consumer electronics products - both prototype build events and overall product planning
- Strong technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
- Proactive and highly self-motivated; good critical thinking capabilities and strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate well in an environment with rapid development cycles and constant change
- Willingness to travel internationally to support development builds
- Experience with multi-camera systems, display and optics technologies, and/or wearable consumer electronics
- Experience driving a highly diverse set of cross-functional team members and perspectives and yielding the best possible product solution
- Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners to establish a daily build plan, provide clear direction and guidance to meet the program and build objectives
