Job Description

Experian's Global Security Office is seeking a Senior Third Party Security Assessor to protect business data by ensuring third parties comply with security policies and best practices. This role involves planning and scheduling remote security assessments, communicating risk management requirements, and identifying/remediating security deficiencies with internal and external stakeholders. The assessor will report to the Information Security Director.
Must have:
  • Plan and schedule remote security assessments for new and existing third party relationships/engagements.
  • Communicate Experian's third party risk management/security due diligence requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with internal business partners and third party security subject matter experts to communicate and interpret Experian's Third Party Security requirements.
  • Identify information security deficiencies or risks at third parties and communicate with stakeholders to obtain action plans, due dates, and documentation for remediation.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in risk management with a focus on information security.
  • Experience with IT Risk and Security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI, and HIPAA.
  • Working knowledge of key operating system, network, application, database, and cloud infrastructure security controls.
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCI QSA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or comparable certifications.

Job Details

Experian's Global Security Office's vision is to protect, connect, and create its business in a secure and resilient manner. The Global Security Office Third Party Security team (GSO-TPS) helps ensure that Experian third parties are protecting Experian data in accordance with Experian policies, contracts, and security best practices.

As the Third Party Security Assessor, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Plan and schedule remote security assessments for new and existing third party relationships/engagements.
  • Communicate Experian's third party risk management/security due diligence requirements to internal and external stakeholders by email and virtual meetings.
  • Work with internal business partners, and third party security subject matter experts to communicate Experian's Third Party Security requirements and assist in their interpretation.
  • Identify information security deficiencies or risks at third parties and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain action plans, due dates, and documentation to evidence remediation of identified security risks/gaps.
  • You will report to the Information Security Director.

Your background:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in risk management with a focus on information security.
  • Experience with IT Risk and Security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI, and HIPAA.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
