We are looking for a passionate Senior/Lead .NET Developer to join our long-term project and take an active role in shaping a modern Enterprise Content Management system that supports complex business processes and helps deliver high-quality digital solutions. You’ll be involved in architecture and key technical decisions, collaborate closely with a strong Agile team, and contribute to the continuous improvement of both the product and development practices.

Our customer holds leading positions in Swedish and Danish public sectors as a provider of high-quality IT products. Our cooperation with them has been successfully growing for more than 12 years. During this time trustful and mutually respectful relations have been established.

Project

The project goal is to enhance functionality of the platform used in Denmark’s public sector for case and document management. The platform supports all kinds of requirements of municipalities or corresponding authorities with a focus on security, efficiency, and user-friendliness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on commercial-grade systems and applications
• Experience in software development using C# programming language (.NET 4.x and .NET Core)
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC 5 + JavaScript/HTML/CSS
• Strong OOP/OOD skills
• Experience in API development using ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core
• Experience in database design and development (MS SQL Server or similar RDBMS)
• Experience in Agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience in RESTful services creation
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus

• Familiarity with WCF and/or ASMX technologies
• Experience with CI/CD configuration (Azure Pipelines)
• Experience in message-broker software (RabbitMQ or similar)
• Experience in SQL Server database optimizations (analyzing query plans and similar)
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with SOAP integrations
• Experience with KnockoutJS

• Work closely with the team to ensure the achievement of project goals
• Contribute to the technical and software design decisions within the team
• Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software.
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
• Provide assistance to test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
• Follow the best engineering practices, the quality criteria set forth on the project
• Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands
• Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements.
