Job Description:

Shipping Associate, 1st & 2nd Shifts – Moorpark, CA

We have an opportunity for a Shipping Associate to join our Moorpark, CA team.  You will pick and prepare orders for shipping and utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items.

You will:

• Pack incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Pick orders as requested by management, ensure correct shipping information is attached, and move completed orders to the shipping area.
• Seal and tag containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
• Place containers on pallets, and secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
• Pick, place, and load products using forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have at least 1 year of prior forklift experience.
• Forklift certification (stand up and sit down).
• SAP/ERP experience preferred
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
• Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly pay for this role is $19.00 - $22.00/hour, DOE, with 8% shift premium for working 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift:

• 1st Shift: 4am start time (8-10 hour shifts)
• 2nd Shift: 2pm start time (8-10 hour shifts)
• Overtime and weekends as needed.
