Job Description

The Social Relations Manager France M/F will join Valeo's Social Relations Department (DRS) in France. This role involves leading and participating in collective agreement negotiations, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the HR network across France. Key responsibilities include social dialogue, labor law application, and contributing to transverse HR projects like RSE, QVCT, DEIB, and Ethics & Compliance. The position requires a Master's degree in HR or Labor Law and at least 5 years of experience in social relations project management.
Must have:
  • Lead/Participate in collective agreement negotiations for Valeo France.
  • Ensure legal monitoring and transpose labor law issues into operational policies.
  • Inform and train the HR network on labor law.
  • Contribute to animating the France HR network.
  • Manage France HR tools (interim, arduousness, disability, AT/MP).
  • Coordinate the application of metallurgy classification.
  • Accompany the deployment of RSE / QVCT / DEIB / Ethics & Compliance policies.
  • Coordinate the HR network with partner networks (HSE, Finance, Purchasing).
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Human Resources or Labor Law.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in social relations project management.
  • Legal knowledge applied to the management of employee representative bodies (IRP).
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, interpersonal skills, service orientation.
  • Professional English level.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of the Metallurgy collective agreement.

The Social Relations Department (DRS) France, whose mission is to support social dialogue and the application of labor law for all Valeo Group entities in France, is recruiting a Social Relations Manager France M/F to strengthen the current team.

The position can be located at our Créteil (94) or Cergy (95) site.

Your missions:

Social Dialogue

  • Lead/Participate in collective agreement negotiations for Valeo France
  • Upstream: preliminary study, costing, mandate validation with stakeholders
  • Administration: designations, convocations, filings
  • Negotiation meetings
  • Deployment: communication, standard documents
  • Monitoring: reporting and animation
  • Contribute to maintaining a good level of social dialogue within French bodies (Social Life Observatory, joint committees, etc.)

Labor Law

  • Ensure legal monitoring
  • Transpose labor law issues into operational policies and deploy them to the HR network
  • Inform and train the HR network on labor law

Transverse HR Topics France

  • Contribute to animating the France HR network: network calls, quarterly meetings, training animation, etc.
  • Management of France HR tools (excluding payroll / Workday core system): interim tools, arduousness, disability, AT/MP, etc.
  • Coordinate the application of classification (metallurgy)
  • Accompany the deployment of CSR / QVCT / DEIB / Ethics & Compliance policies
  • Coordinate the HR network with partner networks: HSE, Finance, Purchasing, etc.

Your profile:

From a Bac+5 level training in Human Resources or Labor Law, you have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience during which you have developed skills in project management related to social relations.

You also have legal knowledge applied to the management of employee representative bodies (IRP).

Recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills, your rigor and your interpersonal qualities allow you to adapt to different interlocutors and to position yourself as a network facilitator.

You have a true sense of service but also the ability to gain perspective on your subjects and define their limits.

Knowledge of the Metallurgy collective agreement and the industrial environment are additional assets.

A professional level of English is required.
