Job Description

Google is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Google Pay Data Platform team. The ideal candidate will have experience with large data and creating and making available data cubes for other teams. They will also have experience in optimizing data processing pipelines and data serving, as well as experience with data analysis and visualization tools. The role will involve building out data infrastructure and data pipelines in a secure and privacy compliant manner, working with feature teams to provide reliable data and infrastructure, and maintaining existing data infrastructure to ensure critical data is available and reliable.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
Experience with large data
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools

Good to have:

Experience working with data cubes
Experience in optimizing data processing pipelines
Experience with data serving

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with large data and creating and making available data cubes for other teams.
Experience in optimizing data processing pipelines and data serving.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Colab).

Responsibilities

Build out data infrastructure and data pipelines in a secure and privacy compliant manner.
Work with feature teams to provide reliable data and infrastructure.
Maintain existing data infrastructure and ensure critical data is available and reliable.
