Must have:
  • Programming in Linux/Windows environment
  • Model processing and analysis, research and development of software tools and algorithms in Crashworthiness and Safety (Automotive, Aerospace)
  • Human Body Modelling (Injury Biomechanics for Automotive and Aerospace)
  • Metal Forming (Automotive, Electronics)
  • Electronic components and Electronic Device drop shock testing (Electronics)
  • Algorithmic problem solving and data processing
  • Programming in Python & C/C++
  • Communication and collaboration with development, customer support, QA, and international research teams
  • University degree from a School of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Statics and Dynamics of Structures and/or Computational Mechanics
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in the English language
Good to have:
  • Diploma thesis or Master's thesis in Computational Mechanics
  • Knowledge of the Finite Element Method
  • Knowledge and experience with CAD/CAE software
  • Knowledge of Numerical Analysis methods
  • Knowledge of modern Machine Learning methods
  • Experience in programming with Python or another programming language

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Programming environment: Linux/Windows
  • Model processing and analysis, research and development of software tools and algorithms in various fields including:
  • Crashworthiness and Safety (Automotive, Aerospace)
  • Human Body Modelling (Injury Biomechanics for Automotive and Aerospace)
  • Metal Forming (Automotive, Electronics)
  • Electronic components and Electronic Device drop shock testing (Electronics)
  • Algorithmic problem solving and data processing
  • Programming languages: Python & C/C++
  • Communication and collaboration with other members of the development, customer support, and quality assurance teams, as well as with international research teams

Qualifications you need to have:

  • University degree from a School of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Statics and Dynamics of Structures and/or Computational Mechanics
