Job Description

Ness Digital Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer with Python and DevOps expertise to design and implement data engineering solutions for compliance and risk initiatives. The role involves working with Python-based ETL pipelines, integrating with automation platforms, writing scripts for monitoring solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet regulatory requirements. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in production engineering, strong Python, DevOps, scripting, SQL, and NoSQL skills.
Must have:
  • Work with Python-based ETL pipelines to acquire, transform, and unify large-scale datasets
  • Integrate pipelines into modern automation platform (such as Tines)
  • Write scripts using various scripting languages to integrate with the monitoring solution
  • Collaborate with compliance, audit, and business stakeholders to align data solutions with regulatory requirements
  • Document code, workflows, and data lineage to meet governance and audit standards
  • Proactively identify data quality issues and troubleshoot complex pipeline or reporting problems
  • Contribute to automation and performance improvements within the data engineering ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in production engineering teams
  • Python programming experience with a focus on data engineering
  • DevOps and scripting experience
  • SQL skills and experience working with NoSQL databases
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data quality and integrity
