Job Description
Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Solar Engineer to join their team. This role involves conducting site visits, surveys, and feasibility studies for solar installations, assessing solar PV systems, and simulating performance using PVsyst. The engineer will prepare detailed project reports, feasibility reports, techno-economic viability reports, and lenders engineers/owners engineer reports. Responsibilities also include performing solar resource assessment, energy yield estimation, overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality assurance, preparing technical and assessment reports during project execution, and coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely project delivery.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or renewable energy engineering
- 3+ years of experience in solar project design and execution
- Proficiency in PVsyst for performance simulation and energy yield analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar PV components
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work independently
Good to have:
- Experience on wind projects will be an added advantage

Location - Mumbai/Ahmedabad/Delhi
Qualification - B.E - Electrical
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and feasibility studies for solar installations
- Assess solar PV systems and simulate performance using PVsyst
- Prepare detailed project reports (DPR), feasibility reports (FR), techno-economic viability reports (TEV), lenders engineers/owners engineer reports
- Perform solar resource assessment and energy yield estimation using PVsyst
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of solar systems
- Monitor project progress and ensure quality assurance as per requirements
- Prepare technical and assessment reports during project execution
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or renewable energy engineering
- 3+ years of experience in solar project design and execution and additionally experience on wind projects will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in PVsyst for performance simulation and energy yield analysis, MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and solar PV components
- Excellent communication & report writing skills and ability to work independently
