We are looking for a Solution Architect for a technical leadership role based in Singapore for the first 12months before returning to a full-time position in Australia
The role focuses on technical solutioning, early-stage architecture, and effort estimation across multiple initiatives. It requires working closely with stakeholders to analyze existing systems, identify gaps, and shape solutions that downstream teams will implement. While the emphasis is on design leadership, the Solution Architect must also be technically hands-on when needed — particularly with Java microservices using Spring Boot.
This position sits within the wholesale transaction banking domain, with exposure to areas such as payments, cash management, and high-value transaction systems being highly advantageous.
Analyze existing codebases and technical landscapes to identify improvement areas, risks, and opportunities.
Define scalable solutions and translate them into actionable epics and roadmaps for delivery teams.
Work directly with client-side System Analysts (aligned to Solution Architects in Endava) to align architecture with business and operational needs.
Participate in early-phase planning by contributing to technical estimations, effort sizing, and architecture proposals.
Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts and engage in the code where necessary to validate designs and support teams — with a primary focus on Spring Boot-based Java microservices.
