CrowdStrike is seeking a Staff-level Frontend Engineer for its Falcon Fusion (SOAR) product, a highly extensible No-Code/Low-Code platform for automating complex workflows. This role involves expanding dynamic feature areas, including complex triggers, views, and large-scale data visualizations. The engineer will collaborate with UX designers, QA, product management, and backend teams to define specifications and features. Responsibilities include owning product delivery, driving technical aspects, defining architecture, and coordinating with stakeholders. The goal is to build and maintain a high-quality user interface for the Falcon platform, protecting customer systems from sophisticated adversaries 24/7.
Must have:
  • Build and maintain single page web applications using Ember.js.

  • Experience with testing frameworks (QUnit, Mocha, Selenium).
  • Functional knowledge of accessible interface development.
  • Desire to collaborate with users, designers, and testers.
  • Familiarity with client-side build tools (git, yarn, npm, Ember CLI).
  • Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.

  • Experience creating or contributing to open source projects.
  • Experience with graphics & visualization tools such as D3 or ThreeJS.

About the Role:

Our Falcon Fusion (SOAR) product is as highly extensible No-Code/Low-Code means of automating all sorts of complex workflow creation and execution. We're seeking an E7 (Staff-level) frontend engineer to join an established high-performing team in expanding a number dynamic feature areas spanning highly complex triggers and views, large scale data visualizations, and more. You'll collaborate closely with UX designers and QA to maintain a consistent user experience across all our products, as well as product management and backend engineers to establish product specifications and features. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for taking full ownership of the delivery of our products, driving the technical aspects, helping the team to define the architecture and coordinating with stakeholders in terms of scope and priorities.

As a Front-End Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will work with a talented and dedicated team to build and maintain the user interface for this arm of the Falcon platform. You will provide a high quality user experience that our customers around the world use 24/7 to protect their systems from the most sophisticated adversaries.

Our JavaScript framework is Ember, but if you've used React, Angular, or Vue.js, you'll feel right at home, and we’ll help you get comfortable with both Ember and our codebase. Since we only support evergreen browsers, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web platform while working with truly massive amounts of data. What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain single page web applications written in JavaScript using Ember.js
  • Participate in the code review process for your own code and that of your fellow UI Engineers
  • Take initiative and build tools that improve your teams development experience
  • Write automated tests for your code
  • Collaborate with fellow UI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UI Designers, Technical Writers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, Product Managers, and others
  • Continually learn about the ever-evolving challenges and complexities of the cybersecurity industry
  • Have fun solving hard problems

What You’ll Need:

  • 7+ Years of experience building complex user interfaces for software products used at high scale, with the majority or most recent portion devoted toward a SaaS product
  • A deep understanding of Javascript and considerable experience building thick-client applications with modern frameworks such as Ember, AngularJS, Backbone or React/Flux.
  • Strong HTML & CSS skills, with bonus points for experience with animation, knowledge of approaches to scalable/modular CSS, & preprocessors such as SCSS & LESS.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, tools and methodologies such as QUnit, Mocha & Selenium.
  • Functional knowledge & interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.
  • A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers, & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems.
  • Familiarity with client-side build processes & tools - git, yarn, npm, Ember CLI etc
  • Comfortable with Git/version control workflows.

Bonus Points:
