The Sr. Manager Controller delivers accurate financial reporting and analyses, supporting company growth and improvement. This role is a key member of the executive management team, leading annual audits and providing regular reports to internal and external stakeholders. Must have:
  • Oversees Accounting Department operations
  • Oversees training programs and identifies training needs
  • Maintains documented accounting policies and procedures
  • Implements system of controls over accounting transactions
  • Oversees production of periodic financial reports
  • Ensures reported results comply with GAAP/IFRS
  • Prepares consolidated financial statements
  • Assists with monthly and quarterly management and board presentations
  • Assists with annual budget and forecasts
  • Reports significant budget differences to management
  • Assists with financial analysis
  • Works with external and internal auditors
  • Assists with managing Property & Casualty insurance policies
  • Manages liquidity needs and treasury function
  • Assists with ERP development, testing and maintenance

Controller

Marucci Sports, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fox Factory, was founded by two former MLB players and their athletic trainer who began handcrafting bats for some of the best players in the game from their garage in 2004. Position Summary:

The Sr. Manager Controller is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and analyses that will help the company grow and improve. This position is a valued member of the company’s executive management team. This role involves leading the company’s annual audit as well as regular reporting to stakeholders and business leaders both within and outside the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, inventory, property and sales tax.
  • Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
  • Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  • Prepares consolidated financial statements.
  • Assists with monthly and quarterly management and board presentations.
  • Assists with the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
  • Assists with financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Works with external and internal auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit, including interim testing.
  • Assists with managing Property & Casualty insurance policies.
  • Manages liquidity needs and treasury function.
  • Assists with ERP development, testing and maintenance.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of related experience required.
