You’ll define the vision for how our tools will support global planning across teams, ensure adoption of standard methodologies, and partner closely with product, engineering, design, operations teams. You will work with IT partners for more complex development and system integrations, ensuring compliance to scale tooling across eBay's Core Product organization.

This is an ideal role for someone who has strong systems thinking skills and thrives in bringing structure to complexity, is energized by enabling internal teams, enjoys working across strategic and tactical layers to make scalable impact, and isn’t afraid to get into the weeds to configure and test solutions themselves

What you will accomplish:

  • Serve as the product owner for Airtable and adjacent planning tools, managing the evolution of our planning workspace and its integrations.
  • Define and drive the roadmap for our tooling ecosystem, aligning with strategic planning needs and scaling our systems as we grow.
  • Gather and synthesize requirements from cross-functional partners; identify inefficiencies and translate them into structured improvements.
  • Design and implement Airtable bases, views, automations, permissions, and interfaces to support team-specific and org-wide planning needs.
  • Create and maintain standards, templates, and naming conventions to ensure consistency, ease of use, and scalability.
  • Monitor adoption, define and track success metrics (e.g., CSAT, engagement), and lead continuous improvement based on user feedback and data.
  • Own documentation, training materials, and communications to support onboarding and tool updates.
  • Proactively communicate feature enhancements, release notes, and strategy execution updates to users and partners.
  • Lead training sessions and act as a point of contact to unblock teams during planning cycles.
  • Become a subject matter expert in eBay’s Planning Process and the nuances of different teams, enabling effective tooling solutions and confident guidance.
  • Evaluate and pilot additional tools or integrations (e.g., Jira, Productboard, Looker Studio) as needs evolve.
  • Collaborate with IT partners and engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver custom enhancements or system integrations.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to operations and product leaders, applying a tooling lens to solve process and delivery challenges.

What you will bring:

  • 5 + years of experience in product management, product operations, or internal tooling roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Airtable (required), including base design, automations, interface designer, and advanced features.
  • Strong systems thinking and a bias toward scalable process design.
  • Clear, empathetic communicator with the ability to simplify complex workflows for a broad internal audience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams, align partners, and drive consensus in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience leading change management and adoption strategies for internal tools.
  • Data-driven approach with experience defining success metrics and using data to inform priorities.
  • Passion for internal enablement and improving how teams plan and deliver.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams such as IT or engineering to implement integrations and customizations.
  • Experience supporting quarterly or strategic planning processes within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with product roadmapping tools (e.g., Productboard), data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio), and project tracking platforms (e.g., Jira) is a plus
  • Exposure to enterprise-level tooling environments and procurement processes is a plus
