We’re looking for a Senior Staff, Cybersecurity Training And Awareness professional to join our growing cybersecurity team, operating remotely within Costa Rica. Reporting to the Director of Security Strategy, Transformation & Vendor Risk Management, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive security awareness program that fosters a culture of security and drives behavioral change across the organization
• Creating engaging training materials and sessions to encourage employees to adopt secure practices at work and in their personal lives, ensuring consistent security practices regardless of location or device
• Developing role-based training materials tailored to competencies and responsibilities associated with specific roles
• Communicating security policies and requirements effectively across the organization, ensuring training materials comply with industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
• Implementing a metrics framework to measure program effectiveness and its impact on reducing organizational risk

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• At least 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT roles, including program/project management, security awareness, risk management, or security operations-related responsibilities
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing security awareness programs, including crafting and facilitating training materials like presentations, eLearning modules, and videos
• Experience in collaborating and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and teams in multiple geographies.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC2, DORA, and GDPR
• Experience with phishing simulation tools and e-learning systems

• Demonstrated expertise in staying ahead of industry trends and leveraging the latest tools to evolve the security awareness program to address emerging threats 
• Strong real-world experience applying cybersecurity best practices, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to global compliance standards
