Job Description
This role is for a Senior Microsoft SQL Server DBA with 9-13 years of experience, focusing on performance tuning and resolving complex database issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of SQL Server databases. The position also involves developing automation to enhance efficiency and productivity, working with cloud, support, and product teams, and applying deep knowledge of industry best practices.
Must have:
- 9-13 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
- Deep expertise in performance tuning
- Ability to solve complex database issues
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues
- Ensuring performance, availability, and security of SQL Server databases
- Strong technical foundation with ability to be hands-on on developing/building automation
- Deep knowledge of industry best practices
