Staff Accountant - General Ledger

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, including tracking additions, disposals, and calculating depreciation
• Support accounts payable functions including invoice processing, vendor setup, and payment approval workflows
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate documentation for financial transactions and support audit requirements
• Assist with data entry and maintenance in the Oracle Fusion ERP system
• Support the accounting team with various ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency

Experience and Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA is a plus
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in general accounting or GL functions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software 
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and depreciation calculations is a plus
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Interest in growing within the accounting function and developing broader finance skills

The salary range for this role is $67,000 - $75,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
