General Summary:

This is an onsite position, San Diego office

Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast paced finance team in QCT’s Internet of Things (IoT) Business Unit. This position will focus on overseeing the pricing and analysis of the BU’s product portfolio. This includes building and supporting financial models, analyzing and reporting on key drivers of financial performance, and providing pricing support across the BU.

This is a great opportunity in a high visibility role to provide analysis to the executive team while partnering with other finance and business organizations across the company. This role provides the opportunity to interact extensively with management teams across finance, business development, engineering, product management, and program management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform variance analysis on incentive / rebate (actual vs budget, claim vs accrual, etc.)
• Tracking incentive deals system update and approval process to make sure all deals are updated in the system by deadline and in compliance with SOX control
• Provide financial and business analysis on deal negotiations to Product Management and Business Development team
• Build, maintain, and publish dashboards and reports in either Tableau or other formats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the finance organization to craft consistent reporting and messaging
• Ad hoc data requests and pricing analysis support
• Ad hoc analysis to provide decision support for key business initiatives and special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

• 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Tableau reporting, Oracle, Cognos TM1 or similar ERP system
• 7+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting or related field
• Highly analytical and be comfortable interacting across various business and finance teams
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated team player with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlines
• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong problem-solving ability
• Strong ability to collaborate across departments

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$106,400.00 - $159,600.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
