Inkify Labs is a leading digital media company specializing in animated documentaries and video content. Our projects combine 3D and 2D animations with real images and videos to create engaging and informative documentaries. We are expanding our creative team and are looking for a talented Storyboard Artist to join us.

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Storyboard Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating storyboards for both 3D and 2D animations and will be able to seamlessly integrate images and videos into the narrative flow. You will work closely with our directors, writers, and animators to visualize complex stories and ensure our documentaries are compelling and visually coherent.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with directors and writers to understand the vision and narrative of each documentary project.
• Create detailed storyboards that illustrate the flow and structure of the documentary, including key scenes, transitions, and camera angles.
• Integrate 3D and 2D animation sequences, as well as real images and video footage, into the storyboard.
• Design storyboards for both short vertical format (1-2 minutes) and long horizontal format (20 minutes).
• Ensure consistency and continuity in visual storytelling across different animation styles and media.
• Revise and adapt storyboards based on feedback from the creative team.
• Work closely with animators and editors to ensure the storyboard is accurately translated into the final animation.
• Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Storyboard Artist, preferably in animation or documentary production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing storyboarding skills for both 3D and 2D animations.
• Proficient in storyboard software (e.g., Storyboard Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
• Excellent drawing and illustration skills with a keen eye for detail and composition.
• Ability to visualize and interpret complex stories and concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with documentary or educational content.

Experience with animated cartoon shows.

Ability to switch seamlessly between different animation styles (e.g., documentaries, cartoons)
