Storyboard Artist - Feature Animation

We are looking for experienced Storyboard Artists to work on an exciting upper preschool CG show for Channel 5/Milkshake. 

Ideally UK based we are accepting candidates either on a Fixed Term Contract or Freelance basis.

Founded in 2001, Jellyfish Pictures has grown from the original "two-man band" into an internationally recognised operation. Known for their world-class animation and VFX, beautifully rendered imagery and multi platform content, Jellyfish’s critically acclaimed work has earned them multiple awards. These include EMMY, BAFTA, highly sought-after VES Awards, and several other accolades. 

Their VFX credits include the latest addition to Lucasfilm’s Star Wars saga, The Book of Boba Fett, as well as various blockbuster movies in the franchise. The team has recently completed work on BBC’s This is Going to Hurt adding to their numerous TV Drama credits. 

In Animation, Jellyfish are currently partnered with Netflix working on a highly anticipated Roald Dahl animated project. DreamWorks Animation's Spirit: Untamed, How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming and several series of top-rated children’s shows are also part of their high end CG animation repertoire. 

Come join a team of super talented artists! 

• 2-3 years storyboard experience across long format episodic Series. 
• Ability to sketch quick but clear panels based on a script and a brief by the director and supervisor. 
• Ability to apply feedback and polish these panels into precisely staged shots with developed acting. 
• Strong visual and cinematic storytelling skills: realistic camera movement, grounded staging and acting. 
• Experience using Toonboom Storyboard pro. 
• A Cintiq tablet (or other brand) compatible with Terradici is a strong plus but not required. 
• Experience working on CG animated projects is a plus but not required.
