Job Description
As a System High-Speed I/O Validation Engineer at Apple, you will execute electrical compliance tests on high-speed serial I/O interfaces. You will be responsible for organizing compliance data reports, troubleshooting test hardware and software, and providing failure analysis feedback for hardware and software improvements. Your duties will also include defining and developing methods for stress testing, validating high-speed fixtures, and developing Python scripts for automation and data collection. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic engineering environment.
Must Have:
- Execute high-speed serial I/O electrical compliance tests.
- Troubleshoot compliance test hardware and software.
- Develop Python-based scripts for automation.
In this role you will: Execute high-speed serial I/O electrical compliance tests Organize compliance data reports for comparison against specs and approval by certification Orgs Troubleshoot and triage issues with compliance test hardware, fixtures, software, and the DUT (Device Under Test) Failure analysis feedback for iterative HW design/SW Tunable improvements Define and develop methods for stress testing to identify design operating limits of Serial IOs post system integration Validation of high-speed fixtures, connectors, cables, and Mac IOs Develop python based scripts to speed up automation and data collection
