talabatYouth - Tech Graduate Internship

Job Description

The talabatYouth program is a 6-month graduate internship designed to equip high-potential graduates with skills and experience for a full-time role. Interns will gain hands-on experience, solve business challenges, and rotate across teams. They will be continuously evaluated, mentored by senior leaders, and empowered to make an impact. Successful interns may transition into a permanent role in 2026. Responsibilities include working on technical challenges across distributed backend systems, contributing to backend development, and building reliable and scalable services.
Good To Have:
  • Previous internships is a plus
  • Basic understanding of backend development and cloud systems
  • Experience with relational/non-relational databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and automated testing
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Graduation year: 2024 and 2025
  • GPA Requirement: 3.5 or above
  • Participation in extracurricular activities

Whether you’re exploring data, engineering, or commercial functions, you’ll gain hands-on experience, solve real business challenges, and rotate across teams to develop a well-rounded understanding of our operations. Interns are evaluated continuously, mentored by senior leaders, and empowered to make a real impact from day one. Successful interns will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role in 2026.  

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled) in Computer Science or related field

  • Graduation year: 2024 and 2025

  • GPA Requirement: 3.5 or above

  • Participation in extracurricular activities is a must

  • Previous internships is a plus

  • Basic understanding of backend development and cloud systems

  • Eagerness to learn distributed systems and testing best practices

  • Strong communication and feedback-oriented mindset

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work on real technical challenges across distributed backend systems

  •  Learn by pairing with engineers and practicing XP principles

  •  Contribute to backend development using .NET, Golang, or C#

  • Build reliable, scalable, and maintainable services

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with relational/non-relational databases

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and automated testing

  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
