Job Description

As a Team Lead-Risk Operations (Transaction Monitoring) at Fi, you will spearhead a team of analysts, ensuring they achieve their objectives. Your responsibilities encompass leading and managing AML/KYC compliance projects, conducting due diligence on customers and transactions, and reporting suspicious activities. You'll be tasked with implementing and maintaining compliance procedures in line with AML and KYC regulations, alongside providing training and mentoring to team members. Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure regulatory compliance and staying current with AML/KYC updates will also be key aspects of your role. Moreover, you'll act as an escalation point for complex cases and prepare performance and compliance status reports for senior management.

At Fi, you will :

-Lead a team of analysts and ensure that the team is meeting its goals and objectives.

-Lead and manage new projects within the AML/KYC compliance team, including project planning, execution, and closure.

-Conduct due diligence on customers and transactions, and identify & report suspicious activity.

-Implement and maintain compliance procedures in accordance with AML and KYC regulations.

-Maintain accurate records and documentation of due diligence and compliance procedures.

-Provide training and mentoring to team members on AML and KYC regulations and procedures.

-Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

-Stay current with regulatory changes and updates related to AML and KYC and implement them in the team’s - -policies and procedures.

-Act as a point of escalation for complex cases, and provide guidance to the team in the resolution process.

-Prepare and present reports to the senior management on the team's performance and compliance status.
