DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and evolve the technical vision and execution strategy for the company across all active and upcoming projects.
• Oversee Unity, .NET, JavaScript, and infrastructure teams ensuring technical quality and consistency.
• Provide technical oversight, code reviews, and architecture consultation when necessary.
• Support adoption of new technologies (e.g., Unreal Engine) and internal R&D efforts.
• Lead a distributed team of ~25 engineers, technical artists, QA, DevOps, and system admins.
• Promote collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement across departments.
• Mentor team members and foster a strong engineering culture.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes.
• Work with project managers to ensure reliable delivery across all client projects.
• Establish and improve technical workflows, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee DevOps and infrastructure, primarily AWS-based.
• Work alongside top-management to align tech execution with business goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team on estimating, pitching, and onboarding new client projects.
• Contribute to portfolio growth and prototype strategy in alignment with company marketing.

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience of at least for 3 years in a Technical Lead/ Technical Director/ Architect or senior engineering leadership role, ideally within a game development or outsourcing context.
• Strong understanding of Unity and .NET ecosystems; familiarity with JavaScript-based slot/ igaming development.
• Experience working in fully remote and distributed teams.
• Solid grasp of AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Capable of conducting high-level technical reviews and guiding teams through architectural challenges.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
