Marvell provides semiconductor solutions that are essential building blocks for data infrastructure across enterprise, cloud, AI, automotive, and carrier architectures. This team manages all test engineering activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including new silicon bring-up, and the release and optimization of sampling, qualification, characterization, and production test programs. The intern will contribute to designing, debugging, and correlating ATE hardware and software, improving ATE throughput, optimizing ATE firmware, and implementing DSP routines for high-speed 400G optical PHY products.
Must have:
  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in CS/EE or related technical field(s)
  • 0-1 years of previous experience
  • Designing, debugging and correlating ATE HW and SW
  • Work with senior engineers on making SW improvements that will improve ATE throughput
  • Optimize firmware running on ATE
  • Configuring and implementing DSP routines for cutting edge high speed 400G optical PHY products
Good to have:
  • Experience with Digital/Analog circuit fundamentals gathered from Digital communication, Analog circuit design, Algorithm and Programming coursework, research and projects
  • Software development experience and coding in a general-purpose programming language
  • Proficient in C, C++

Your Team, Your Impact

This team owns all test engineering activities related to the NPI plan including new silicon bring-up, release of sampling test programs, release of qualification and characterization test programs, release of production test programs, and optimization of test time and yield.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a BS degree in CS/EE or related technical field(s)
  • 0-1 years of previous experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Digital/Analog circuit fundamentals gathered from Digital communication, Analog circuit design, Algorithm and Programming coursework, research and projects.
  • Software development experience and coding in a general-purpose programming language
  • Proficient in C, C++

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

24 - 47, $ per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
