Job Description

The Training Program Coordinator develops training systems for all 4 L&M Radiator locations and service centers globally. This role involves organizing, preparing, and reviewing training materials, training trainers, and composing reports and plans to ensure effective training execution. As a member of the Quality Team, the coordinator develops, coordinates, and oversees comprehensive training programs across all departments, including new employee orientation, supervisor development, and departmental instruction.
Must have:
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for new hires, supervisors, department transfers, and managers.
  • Develop original training materials tailored to L&M’s operational and compliance needs, including ISO and NEOT.
  • Manage internal audits and corrective actions, including auditor training, scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Oversee training for Production Tier System, QMS, SPs, and Work Instructions, ensuring consistency across all plants.
  • Maintain and certify training records, including SP 128 welders and external service center qualifications.
  • Collaborate with R&D and suppliers on material specifications and handle supplier reject reporting.
  • Schedule and conduct external training, including OEM service centers and aftermarket maintenance, with occasional travel.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO/PPAP/CAR.
  • Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, plan, and prioritize in fast-paced settings.
  • High school diploma/GED plus 5 years at L&M Radiator or Bachelor’s degree/equivalent experience.

TPM is responsible for organizing, preparing, and reviewing all training materials, training the trainers, and composing reports and training plans to ensure all training is executed and completed.

It involves creating original training materials tailored to company needs, managing internal audits, and supporting quality and corrective action programs. The position also includes maintaining training documentation, certifying welders, coordinating external training, and collaborating with R&D on material specifications. Domestic and international travel may be required.

  • Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods during training, audits, and office work.
  • Light lifting/carrying of training materials (typically under 25 lbs).
  • Frequent computer and document handling require hand and finger dexterity.
  • Travel may involve physical activity like walking, carrying luggage, and standing during events.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
