About the Role
This role involves managing our treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity, and financial risk. The Treasury Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our financial resources and ensuring effective management of financial operations. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Manage compliance with local and international withholding tax regulations.
Oversee calculation, reporting, and payment of withholding taxes for all intercompany transactions.
Collaborate with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies and manage risks.
Handle interest calculations and payments for intercompany loans.
Ensure documentation and compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in loan agreements.
In charge of SEAC cash pooling facility to optimize cash management and liquidity.
Monitor daily cash positions and manage liquidity across the South East Asia region.
Develop and implement strategies to improve cash pooling efficiency.
Prepare and present reports on cash management, tax compliance, and intercompany loan performance.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including finance teams, tax advisors, and banks.
Provide expert advice on treasury-related matters.
Identify and implement process improvements within the treasury function.
Enhance efficiency and streamline treasury procedures.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Required skills: treasury management, forecasting, cash management, risk management, financial reporting, Singapore tax rules and withholding tax experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury management, with experience on Singapore’s withholding taxes and intercompany loans.
Proven experience in cash pooling and liquidity management in the South East Asia region.
Strong Regulatory Knowledge: Tax regulations, transfer pricing, financial regulations and compliance requirements in the South East Asia region.
Proficient in Technology software: Financial software, Microsoft Office Suite, treasury management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP).
Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Abilities: Adept at handling complex financial scenarios and assisting in making strategic decisions; possessing excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Project Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects or initiatives, manage timelines and resources (if any) effectively.
Strong Stakeholder Management: For building and maintaining effective relationships.
Continuous Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Advanced Financial Analysis: Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
Communication and interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) as well as the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and to ability to work collaboratively.
Crisis Management: Ability to develop contingency plans given the potential for financial crisis or unexpected market changes
