The Website and Digital Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining modern, creative user experiences across multiple websites and digital technology platforms. This role involves managing marketing content, maintaining six brand websites, driving online sales, and optimizing the customer shopping experience. The professional will combine marketing expertise with a thorough understanding of online business processes to enhance digital presence and e-commerce performance, including SEO, analytics, and conversion rate optimization.

  • Manage marketing content and maintain six brand websites.
  • Drive online sales and optimize the customer shopping experience.
  • Translate creative, innovative design ideas into high-quality user experiences including CSS guidelines.
  • Install, test, and maintain website and digital marketing technology tools and systems.
  • Research, recommend, test, and install web software / plug-ins.
  • Operate within a Project Management environment (Wrike-based).
  • Work with 3rd party website development partners and freelancers as needed.
  • Support Product Information Management team to facilitate data transfer.
  • Support eCommerce Manager in defining and managing SEO best practices and execution.
  • Support eCommerce Manager in generating analytics reports to monitor KPI.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce marketing strategies.
  • Analyze website data and user behavior to identify trends and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve marketing performance.
  • Monitor and report on ecommerce sales performance with recommendations for growth.

Position Summary:

The Website and Digital Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining modern, creative user experiences across multiple websites and digital technology platforms. The person will be responsible for managing marketing content and maintaining our six brand websites while driving online sales and optimizing the customer shopping experience. This professional will combine marketing expertise with a thorough understanding of online business processes to enhance our digital presence and ecommerce performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with Marketing team to translate creative, innovative design ideas into high-quality user experiences including CSS guidelines to deliver engaging Content Marketing programs
  • Install, test, and maintain website and digital marketing technology tools and systems including software updates.
  • Research, recommend, test, and install web software / plug-ins including updates.
  • Operate within a Project Management environment -- currently Wrike-based.
  • Work with 3rd party website development partners and freelancers as needed to maintain digital marketing functionality in accordance with Marketing strategy.
  • Support Product Information Management team to facilitate data transfer across multiple platforms including PIM, eCommerce, data export as needed.
  • Support eCommerce Manager in defining and managing SEO best practices and execution including product names, ID, descriptions, meta data, etc.
  • Support eCommerce Manager in generating analytics reports to monitor KPI for all marketing efforts including conversion, SEO keywords, social referrals, and online advertising.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce marketing strategies to increase online traffic, conversion rates, and revenue
  • Analyze website data and user behavior to identify trends and optimize marketing efforts
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve marketing performance
  • Monitor and report on ecommerce sales performance with recommendations for growth

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Web software proficiencies: Liquid (Shopify), HTML, SQL, PHP, e-commerce, WooCommerce, theme design, blog
  • Additional software proficiencies: Wrike, Adobe Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Analytics
  • Strong software skills: Microsoft Office, and aptitude for learning new software.
  • Internet savvy, strong knowledge of social media and related apps.
  • Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills.
  • Highly organized, creative and able to juggle many projects simultaneously.
  • Work autonomously when needed to push projects through tight timelines.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related area, or equivalent experience

Experience:

3+ years of marketing experience

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
