Job Description
As a Wireless Cellular Standards Engineer, the core responsibilities involve designing and simulating wireless communication systems for 5G and 6G technologies. This includes channel coding, advanced MIMO systems, mobility, protocols for energy saving, and AI/ML for air interface enhancements. The role also encompasses optimizing sensing techniques, and control and data channels for cellular systems. Furthermore, the engineer will attend global standards meetings, such as 3GPP, to advocate for Apple product preferences and collaborate with product teams to devise innovative architectures, protocols, and algorithms that meet the demands of emerging applications in challenging radio environments.
In this role, core responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Designing and simulating wireless communication systems for 5G and 6G technologies, including channel coding, advanced MIMO systems, mobility, protocols for energy saving, AI/ML for air interface enhancements, sensing techniques, control and data channel optimization for cellular systems. Attending global standards meetings, including 3GPP, to promote Apple product preferences.
