Mistplay is seeking an experienced and dynamic Workplace Experience & Culture Manager to lead its Montreal office. This strategic role involves fostering a positive and productive work environment by shaping company culture, managing daily operations, and ensuring high employee engagement. The manager will develop and implement workplace experience strategies, plan cultural events, oversee facilities, and act as a primary contact for employee concerns. This onsite position requires a five-day-a-week presence at the Montreal office.
Must have:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive workplace experience strategy.
  • Design, plan, and execute company culture events, team building activities, and celebrations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach the Office Manager in Toronto.
  • Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace needs and employee concerns.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace operations, employee experience, facilities management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of team leadership and management experience.
  • Strong skills in team supervision, strategic planning, budget management, large-scale event planning, multi-location coordination, vendor management, facilities operations, and health & safety compliance.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale events and culture initiatives.
  • Experience in fast-paced, growth-stage technology companies.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week in Montreal.

Mistplay is in search of an experienced and dynamic Workplace Office Manager to masterfully manage our Montreal office. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for creating a positive and productive workplace experience. You will play an essential role in shaping the culture, managing operations, and ensuring our employees feel engaged and supported. As the Workplace Office Manager based in Montreal, this role requires working onsite five days a week. Our office is located at 1001 Boulevard Robert-Bourassa.

What you'll do at Mistplay:

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive workplace experience strategy that aligns with Mistplay's culture and values. Partner with senior leadership to enhance employee engagement and retention through relevant policies and programs.
  • Design, plan, and execute company culture events, team building activities, and celebrations. Collaborate with the Culture Committee and cross-functional teams to create memorable experiences reflecting Mistplay's values.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach the Office Manager in Toronto fostering professional development and operational excellence across locations
  • Oversee daily office operations, including facilities management, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships. Ensure efficient space planning and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace needs and employee concerns. Regularly assess employee satisfaction and implement data-driven improvements to enhance the workplace environment.

What you'll bring to Mistplay:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace operations, employee experience, facilities management, or a related field, including 2+ years of team leadership and management experience.
  • Strong skills in team supervision, strategic planning, budget management, large-scale event planning, multi-location coordination, vendor management, facilities operations, and health & safety compliance.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking and vision, leadership and influence, communication and collaboration, cultural intelligence, problem-solving and innovation, adaptability, emotional intelligence, project management, and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale events and culture initiatives, with experience in fast-paced, growth-stage technology companies.
