As an FX Technical Director at Framestore, you'll create CG simulations of natural and magical phenomena (fire, water, smoke, etc.).  Responsibilities include particle, rigid-body, fluid, cloth, fur/hair simulations and animations; applying lighting and shaders; collaborating with other departments; designing effects solutions, pipelines, tools, and techniques; and producing reviewable composites.  Proficiency in Houdini and/or Maya, along with a strong understanding of VFX processes and scripting (Vex, hscript, Mel) is essential.  You'll work on high-profile projects, contributing to the studio's award-winning visual effects.

Unity Game Engine

This role involves scheduling all departments for commercial productions, managing dependencies, and communicating with various teams to ensure projects stay on track. Responsibilities include liaising with supervisors, overseeing shot management using Ftrack, troubleshooting delays, organizing dailies, managing outsourced work, assisting with delivery and versioning, and performing ad-hoc duties.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.  Experience with Ftrack is preferred.  The position requires at least 3 days per week in the London office.

<li>Schedule all departments and manage dependencies between them.</li>
<li>Communicate with upstream and downstream departments to ensure projects stay on track.</li>
<li>Liaise with production and VFX supervisors to prioritise daily tasks.</li>
<li>Oversee shot management and assign tasks using Ftrack.</li>
<li>Maintain project awareness to identify and troubleshoot potential delays.</li>
<li>Organise dailies.</li>
<li>Follow up on Ftrack submissions for dailies.</li>
<li>Take detailed notes in meetings and follow up to ensure the completion of action points.</li>
<li>Assist with setting priorities for the render farm.</li>
<li>Set up and manage all Teams channels.</li>
<li>Manage all outsourced work I/O (Roto, CG, etc.).</li>
<li>Assist producers with delivery and versioning tasks as required.</li>
<li>Perform other ad hoc duties to support the overall production process.</li>
</ul>Requirements<ul>
<li>A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a production coordinator.</li>
<li>Ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple projects.</li>
