QA Tester

The QA Tester will be responsible for rigorously testing products, providing accurate user experience insights, and collaborating with the team to enhance product quality. This role involves performing path and exploratory testing, paying close attention to detail to identify and reproduce issues. The tester will communicate effectively with the development team to discuss potential causes and solutions. They will also create and organize test cases, checklists, and regression tests, proactively identifying and resolving problems before users encounter them. The tester will conduct tests based on checklists, document bugs, and assist the team in maintaining product consistency throughout the development stages. Guiding user testing, conducting interviews, and surveys to pinpoint the root causes of technical or usability problems will also be part of the responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
They must continually test our products, bring accurate insight into the user experience back to the team, and work closely with the team to elevate the quality of our products.
 
MAIN TRANS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
<ul>
<li>Repeatedly perform path and exploratory testing;</li>
<li>Attention to detail, to find problems or be able to reproduce them as consistently as possible;</li>
<li>Clear communication to exchange ideas about possible causes and solutions with the development team;</li>
<li>Organize and create test cases, checklists, and regression tests, proactively find new ways to discover problems before users do, and keep old problems at bay;</li>
<li>Carry out tests based on checklists, documenting all bugs through a database;</li>
<li>Help the team raise quality through multiple prototypes to the final product, reporting appropriate issues at each stage, and helping to keep the product consistent at each stage;</li>
<li>Guide user testing, conduct interviews and surveys to find the root causes of technical or usability problems.</li>
</ul>
 
MUST HAVE:
<ul>
<li>Being able to use VR for hours;</li>
<li>Basic experience playing video games for long periods of time;</li>
<li>Be able to communicate in English (reading, writing and speaking).</li>
</ul>
 
GOOD TO HAVE:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of good accessibility practices for inclusion in the testing routine;</li>
<li>Some experience helping online gamers (being a member of a community or some type of customer support);</li>
<li>Some knowledge of agile methodologies;</li>
<li>Familiarize yourself with Google G Suite, Monday, Slack and Github;</li>
<li>Previous knowledge or experience with VR and AR content is preferred;</li>
<li>A passion for games, film, TV, art, animation, electronics, RPGs, theater and narrative experiences would be a huge plus;</li>
<li>Experience with game development.</li>
